Parent criticizes pace of repairs

Wellesley school officials said they are pressing forward with an action plan to correct issues raised in a February report dealing with air quality concerns at Schofield Elementary School. Questions about mold and air quality in Schofield have dogged the district for years. Last week, PTO co-president Lana Bornstein sent a letter criticizing the district’s handling of the problems, which date back to 2004. She also called for Superintendent Bella Wong and Assistant Superintendent Salvatore Petralia to be fired.
