The Fountain Street Fine Art gallery at 59 Fountain St. is hosting events featuring two local award-winning artists - one a painter, the other a poet - this month. Nan Hass Feldman is exhibiting vibrant paintings inspired by her travels through the Chinese countryside in “Dreaming East, Dreaming West,’’ which is running through April 15. Feldman teaches at the Danforth Museum and School of Art in Framingham, the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum in Lincoln, and the Worcester Art Museum, and has paintings in collections around the world. Her husband, Alan Feldman, is an award-winning poet whose work has appeared in the Atlantic and The New Yorker magazines. He will give a reading at 6 p.m. March 31, with Nan speaking about her art at 7:15 p.m. To learn more about the Feldmans, as well as the artist-run, membership gallery, visit www.fountainstreetfineart.com. - Megan McKee
