Charter schools cost district

An increase in charter school tuition will offset the $27,388 in additional state aid that school officials are anticipating under the governor’s recent budget proposal for next fiscal year. According to state figures, local schools will pay out $37,032 in added tuition costs for students attending charter schools next fiscal year. - Matt Gunderson
