Forum on town manager

A special public meeting to discuss a proposal to revamp the town government’s structure is set for 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Southborough Library. The article on the April 9 Town Meeting warrant would create a town manager form of government, and increase the Board of Selectmen from three to five members. The Drafting Committee for Town Manager Legislation, which crafted the proposal, will answer questions from residents during the forum. A link to the committee’s final proposal has been posted on the town’s website, www.southboroughtown.com.
