Survey: Some Lexington teachers fear administrators’ retribution

A survey of Lexington teachers and staff has found that many feel there is a top down approach from the superintendent and school administrators that lacks a human touch, and that some staff members avoid speaking out for fear of retribution. Now school officials are deliberating about how to respond to complaints raised by the report, which was conducted by a consultant at the request of the school district, after concerns about low teacher morale arose last year.
