Hanscom’s Band of Liberty slated to be deactivated

Local fans mount campaign to save Air Force band at Hanscom

As they say, they’re breaking up the band: In early March, the Air Force announced that the Band of Liberty, a patriotic mainstay in the region for nearly 35 years, will be de-activated next summer as part of a service-wide cost-cutting measure.
