Buddhist temple in Bedford embraces its Thai traditions

Community aims for wider reach with fund-raiser

A small community of Buddhists, predominantly from Thailand, Laos and Cambodia, is reaching out to a wider audience April 8, with its first Gala Fundraiser Dinner and Concert at Springstep in Medford. The fundraiser will benefit the Boston Buddha Vararam Temple in Bedford, which also conducts meditation lessons and has a Thai language school for children and adults.
