Go golfing at the library

Teens can try their hand at miniature golf between the stacks Saturday, when the Public Library of Brookline’s main branch is transformed into a golf course and video-game emporium. Other things usually forbidden in the library, like henna tattoos, food, and loud talking, will also be available starting at 7:30 p.m. for those in grades 7 to 12. On Sunday, the course is open for ages 5 and up and their parents starting at 8:30 a.m., with breakfast treats and a photo booth also on hand. Tickets are $5 on Saturday night, and $10 for up to four in a family on Sunday. Register at www.brooklinerec.com or call 617-730-2069. - Andreae Downs
