The Lexington Global Warming Action Committee is hosting a presentation on affordable solar-energy options at 7 p.m. Monday at Cary Memorial Library, 1874 Massachusetts Ave. The free session will feature speakers Mark Sandeen, chairman of the town’s Sustainable Lexington Committee, and Ben Cumbi, solar photovoltaic director for Transformations Inc., a Townsend-based builder. Their topics will include the changing costs for leasing or buying solar panels, and simple ways to determine a home’s solar-energy potential. - Brock Parker
