The Westborough Public Library is marking Money Smart Month with a series of events in April geared toward promoting personal financial literacy. The first program, Home Buying 101, will be presented Thursday at 7 p.m. It will be led by Tim Foley, with the local RE/MAX Prestige real estate office, along with colleagues Mary Foley and Malissa Butterfield, lawyer Gary Sanaginario, mortgage authority Peter Hurwitz, and Robert McIntyre, president of McIntyre Insurance. They will cover the entire home-buying process: realty, mortgages, closings, insurance, and home inspection. For more information about the free presentation, or upcoming events in the Money Smart series, call the library at 508-366-3050, or visit the calendar on its website, www.westboroughlib.org. - Jennifer Roach
