Matlin to speak at event for Second Step organization

Actress Marlee Matlin will speak at the Newton-based Second Step’s 20th anniversary gala; Natick High School vice principal Zach Galvin of Wellesley is adding to the $423,036 he has raised for Dana-Farber; Erica Chalmers of Natick is sending used school furniture and funds to Starfish International; the Weston co-founders of Women Working For Oceans are raising awareness of the harmfulness of plastics; and Harvard high school juniors Ben Senkowski and Daniel Jackson earned acting awards.
