Opening on housing board

The town’s Housing Commission has a vacancy, with Renel Fredriksen resigning her position after winning election to the Board of Selectmen. The Housing Commission is involved in creating affordable-housing units as well as preserving and maintaining the town’s existing units. The commission typically meets twice a month but less often during the summer. Meetings are on the second and fourth Wednesdays at 7:30 a.m. Residents interested in being appointed to a one-year term can attend a meeting or contact a current member. - Jennifer Fenn Lefferts
