Prepare for Marathon Monday

Along with tens of thousands of runners, the Boston Marathon will also bring traffic disruptions to Natick. Route 135 will be shut down at 8:30 a.m., according to the Natick police. Frustrated travelers can find solace in knowing that among the runners will be seven people raising money for Natick organizations and causes: Nicole Chiasson, Vincent Forde, Chad Howard, Dat Huynh, Cheryl Jones, Selectman Paul Joseph, and Scott Lacerra. In exchange for a Boston Marathon number from the town, each runner has committed to raising at least $2,500. Townwide initiatives and organizations can apply for grants from the money raised starting in June.
