Request for Sunday hours

The Library Board of Trustees will ask Town Meeting in May for roughly $7,000 in one-time funding to allow it to open the Coolidge Corner branch on seven Sundays through June and July. All the libraries are closed on Sundays from mid-June to September, but last summer the board opened the Coolidge branch for one Sunday in July. The popularity of the change prompted this year’s pilot of a longer stretch of Sunday openings. - Andreae Downs
