As of May 1, Hudson will put in place water-use regulations that must be followed until Sept. 30. Selectmen voted to enact conservation measures limiting nonessential outdoor water use such as lawn sprinkling and car washing to alternate days. People with odd-numbered street addresses will be allowed to water on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and those with even-numbered houses on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Filling swimming pools and watering on Mondays will be prohibited. Violations can lead to fines of up to $100. For more information, call the public works office at 978-562-9333.
