Westborough’s Allen bidding to earn his snaps in the NFL

Westborough’s Taylor Allen has finished his gridiron career at Endicott College, a Division 3 program in Beverly that is barely a decade old. But if you can play, the NFL will find you, which is why the undrafted Allen spent four days in Jacksonville last week at the Jaguars' rookie minicamp. The son of former Boston University and Holy Cross coach Dan Allen, the 6-foot-4, 250-pound tight end is hoping to land a contract offer for his skills as a long snapper.
