Wrentham’s Palioca pitching in for World Series-bound Wheaton baseball squad

Alec Palioca showed promise last year as a freshman at Wheaton College, compiling a 2-2 record with a 3.09 earned run average. This spring, the King Philip Regional graduate has been dazzling, compiling an 8-0 record with a 1.39 earned run average for a Wheaton squad that has a ticket to the NCAA Division 3 World Series. The Lyons will play Webster University of St. Louis in a first-round matchup on Friday in Grand Chute, Wis.
