Forum to explore storm-water issues

The town will host a discussion about storm-water awareness, and methods that new developments can use to assist water and flood control efforts from 7 to 8 p.m. June 12. iBethany Eisenberg , with the consulting firm Vanasse Hangen Brustlin Inc. in Watertown, will lead the discussion in Town Hall. It will be the second in a series hosted by the town’s Engineering Division in an effort to educate residents on the impact of storm-water runoff on water quality, flood control, and erosion. Eisenberg will discuss how landscape design practices, such as using porous pavement and rainwater recovery methods, can help create low-impact developments.
