MBTA meeting on Route 73 bus

The MBTA will hold a community meeting for Belmont and Watertown residents to discuss ways to improve a bus route that serves the neighboring communities. The transit authority has identified Route 73 as one of its 15 busiest bus routes, and is trying to reduce trip times and make the service more reliable and cost effective as part of its Key Bus Route Improvement Program. As part of the program, bus stops may be relocated or eliminated. The public meeting will be held on Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Beech Street Center in Belmont.
