Katina Makris, author of the book “Out of the Woods,” will speak at the Dover Town Library from 6 to 7:30 p.m. June 27 about her long bout with Lyme disease and her recovery from the chronic illness using a holistic approach. Makris will share practical medical information and personal experiences from her decade-long struggle with the disease. Her book also focuses on chronic disease, and the roles that mind, body, and spirit have in maintaining health and in life. Makris will also sign copies of her book during the event.
