The Board of Selectmen is seeking volunteers for the town’s Community Preservation Committee. The panel’s duties include making recommendations on how to spend funds collected through a surcharge on property taxes, bolstered by a state contribution; the money can be spent only on local affordable housing, open space and historic preservation efforts.
