STICKING POINTS

Tournament High 5

Will Blumenberg (below), Concord-Carlisle: Like a rare breed, the freshman did his best in the postseason, culminating with five goals in the 13-3 state championship win over Algonquin Regional.

Brandon Jaeger , Dover-Sherborn: The junior attack was electric near the net for the Raiders on their run to a Division 3 state title, finishing his dynamite postseason with five goals in the championship game against North Reading.

Carly O’Connell , Algonquin Regional: The senior All-American, who finished her career with 525 points and will play at Oregon in the fall, was a game-changer at both ends of the field for the Tomahawks as they captured the Division 1 Central title.

Nico Panepinto , Needham: The junior All-American attack couldn’t miss during the Rockets’ run to Harvard Stadium, and he nearly rallied Needham with a four-goal effort during the 10-8 loss to Duxbury.

Emily Zlevor , Medfield: Even while closely guarded, the senior was constantly making an impact for the Warriors on their first state title run in program history, scoring five goals in the final 10-9 win over Winchester.
