Public hearing Thursday on Route 140 changes


State and local officials will hold a public hearing to discuss proposed changes to Route 140 at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Municipal Building. The proposal consists of pavement and resurfacing work along Route 140 in the center of town, including roadway and sidewalk reconstruction, the installation of lights and traffic signals, and streetscape and landscape improvements. Written comments regarding the project can be sent to Thomas F. Broderick, chief engineer, Massachusetts Department of Transportation, 10 Park Plaza, Boston, MA 02116.
