State budget proposals would increase Nashoba’s school aid

Proposed state budgets offered by the House, Senate, and the governor would all increase aid to the Nashoba Regional School District for the fiscal year starting July 1. The Senate proposal came in at nearly $8.4 million; the House’s bill calls for nearly $8.33 million; and the governor’s budget allotment is $8.1 million. The regional district is receiving not quite $8 million from the state for this fiscal year.
