The town will celebrate Independence Day with a live band and a simulcast of the Boston Pops Orchestra and fireworks on a large screen at Robbins Farm Park. The free celebration at the park, which offers a good view of the Boston skyline, will begin Wednesday at 7 p.m., according to the nonprofit Friends of Robbins Farm Park. The 39th annual Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular along the Esplanade in Boston will be simulcast on a large screen and the John Perry Band will perform live at the park, off Eastern Avenue. The event is sponsored by the Friends of Robbins Farm Park, the town, NStar, and Premiere Roofing and Remodeling.
