The Westborough Food Pantry has put together a “Pass the Torch” collection drive to help keep its shelves stocked this summer. In a nod to this summer’s Olympic Games in London, the program encourages residents who give to the pantry to get their friends and neighbors involved by passing along a paper torch to continue the stream of donations. The paper torch will have instructions on the back and a space for all participants to sign their names. Donations can be dropped off at the Westborough Public Library, 55 West Main St. Current needs of the pantry include juice bottles, crackers, cookies, Ramen noodles and toiletries.
