Upgrades on a 300-foot stretch of roadway from East Main Street to 18 Pond St. are expected to be completed in October, according to David Maher, the town’s economic and community development director. The $450,000 project started in mid-April and is funded by a state grant. The work includes drainage-pipe and sidewalk improvements and repaving the street.
