A major motion picture started filming in town on June 22. A house on Piper Road has been selected as the home of actress Kate Winslet's character in “Labor Day,” which also stars Josh Brolin, and other sites around town may be used, including the Acton Senior Center. Piper Road will remain open during filming but there may be delays, officials said.
