A majority of the residents who packed the Planning Board’s recent public forum on a proposed rezoning plan supported giving a village overlay district near Interstate 495 another try, according to the town planner, Jennifer Atwood Burney. The overlay district was defeated at Town Meeting in May, but Burney said the board plans to tweak the proposal over the summer to address concerns and reintroduce it.
