The Massachusetts Cultural Facilities Fund recently awarded an $83,300 grant to the Concord Museum to repair its roof. The state released about $5 million in grants to support building projects for nonprofit arts, history, and science organizations across Massachusetts. The three-story Concord Museum building, built in 1930 with a 1991 addition, displays the museum’s collection of 17th-, 18th-, and 19th-century Americana objects. The grant will be used to replace the original section’s leaking slate roof and rebuild four damaged chimneys.
