Town resident Jenny Amory will assume the helm of the Brookline Community Foundation on Sept. 4, according to an announcement by the nonprofit’s board of trustees. Amory has worked in community organizations for more than 25 years, most recently as development director for BPE, formerly known as the Boston Plan for Excellence. “I feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to give back to my community as BCF’s new executive director,” said Amory. Since 1999, the foundation has distributed more than $5 million in grants to support local organizations and activities.
