The Friends of the Lawrence Library is sponsoring the Ken Field Trio at 7 p.m. on Saturday. Field, a composer and saxophonist with the modern music ensemble Birdsongs of the Mesozoic, and leader of the Revolutionary Snake Ensemble, will perform with Blake Newman playing the acoustic bass and Phil Neighbors on drums during the free concert next weekend at the library, 15 Main St.
