Children can sign up to practice their reading with Roly the dog between 4 and 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Groton Public Library. Roly is a West Highland terrier who is certified in pet therapy with the Book Buddy program. The program is designed to help children practice their reading skills and increase their self-confidence by reading aloud to an attentive and nonjudgmental audience. To register, call 978-448-1168.
