Armstrong Elementary School third-grader Clarene Martin placed second in a statewide art competition that promotes the importance of saving for college. The College Savings Art Competition, held annually by the Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority, invites students in third through fifth grades to submit artwork on the theme “What do I want to be when I graduate from college?” Martin took second place for her depiction of a wildlife photographer.
