The town has extended the deadline for applying to fill a vacancy on its Traffic and Sidewalk Committee. Residents who are interested in applying now have until Sept. 5 to send a letter, along with background information, to selectmen@westonmass.org or Weston Board of Selectmen, PO Box 378, Weston, MA 02493. The nine-person volunteer committee focuses on a number of issues relating to traffic, including safety improvements.
