Motorists can expect delays on sections of four roads in town that will be reclaimed, milled, and paved starting this week. The work is scheduled to begin Monday, but could be delayed by inclement weather or unanticipated scheduling conflicts with the contractor, according to a notice from the town’s highway manager, Mike Mansir. The work is scheduled to be completed by Sept. 1. Work on Monday is scheduled for a 285-foot stretch of Church Place between Hayden Rowe Street and Church Street. Also expected to begin Monday is work on a 1,574-foot stretch of Church Street from Maple to Main streets. Work is scheduled to begin Tuesday on a 620-foot stretch of Walcott Street from Main Street to A Street, and on Wednesday work is scheduled for a 1,750-foot stretch on Cedar Street Extension from 1,400 feet west of Cordaville Road to the Southborough town line. Motorists are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.
