When Pop Warner announced in June it would limit head-to-head contact in football practices, local high schools took notice. Coaches at Dover-Sherborn High School and Marshfield High School say they will also curb contact in practices. The Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association said practice limitations appear to be a trend among area high schools, which are paying attention to similar changes at the professional and collegiate levels.
