Kyle Clark , Hopkinton: Three sacks and an interception from the junior linebacker helped the Hillers shut out Newton South, 35-0.
Troy Flutie , Natick: The junior signal-caller ran for 75 yards and two touchdowns, and added 138 yards and two more touchdowns through the air in Natick’s 47-6 win over Brookline.
Joe Johnston , King Philip Regional: In a nonconference matchup against Dover (N.H.) High, the senior running back piled up 153 yards rushing and two touchdowns on 17 carries, and added a 20-yard touchdown reception to his contributions in the Warriors’ 35-12 win.

Acton-Boxborough Regional at Chelmsford, 7 p.m. Friday: Colonials junior William Tejeda scored twice while seniors Billy Jackman and Zach Adgate were all over the field on both sides of the ball last week in Acton-Boxborough’s win over Woburn, 28-0. This weekend, coach Bill Maver’s club will be tested on the road against the Lions, who beat up on Westford Academy in their season opener, 40-26.
