After their father’s death in 2003, Tilia Klebenov Jacobs of Framingham and her brother were cleaning out his Dedham home when they stumbled upon 50 years of their parents’ correspondence, including love letters from the 1950s. Jacobs’s subsequent short story based on her maternal grandmother’s letter expressing concern over their interfaith marriage was recently published in “The Chalk Circle: Intercultural Prizewinning Essays,” edited by Tara L. Masih.
