Fellowships for Peace Corps volunteers

Volunteers coming out of the Peace Corps will be able to get a fellowship to study at Andover Newton Theological School. It is the first seminary to partner with the Peace Corps in offering Paul D. Coverdell Fellowships, according to an announcement by the Newton Centre school. The fellowship will allow Peace Corps graduates to get a 30 percent tuition discount, totaling about $15,000 over three years, toward any of the theological school’s graduate degree or certificate programs. The Coverdell Fellowship program, which was established in 1985, is offered at more than 70 universities.
