Cheer on Angel runners, walkers

The seventh annual Medfield Foundation Angel Run is taking place Sunday, starting at 2 p.m. at Wheelock Elementary School, 17 Elm St. The family-friendly fund-raising event is held in support of Medfield neighbors in need. Beginning in 2006, the event was dedicated in memory of Natasha Domeshek, a Medfield third-grader who died in 2002. She would have been a graduating high school senior this year. The majority of the proceeds from race fees and pledges from runners and walkers will support the Medfield Outreach Program and other initiatives by the nonprofit foundation. Residents and supporters will line the 3.2-mile loop route, which will feature holiday decorations, carolers, water stations, and other festive highlights. After the race, a party for the participants will be held at the school. The race-day registration fee is $25, with signups starting at 12:30 p.m. For more information, visit www.angelrun.org.
