Climate Action Brookline is partnering with the Public Library of Brookline to produce a community reading event as part of an environmental-awareness program planned for this winter. The Brookline Reads event will feature “The Dirty Life: A Memoir of Farming, Food and Love,” by Kristin Kimball. The book is about Kimball and her husband's plan to grow all the food a local community might need. A discussion with the author is planned for Jan. 31 in conjunction with Brookline Climate Week 2013, which will run from Jan. 26 through Feb. 3.
