The town’s School Building Committee recently released information on the tasks yet to be completed before the Carlisle Public School construction project can be finalized. Issues yet to be resolved in the large-scale project, which began in April 2011 and was initially projected to be finished this fall, include a retaining wall that may need additional fortification, and corrections to the school’s heating and automated lighting systems. The committee reported that about 5 percent of the total construction funds will be held until all outstanding tasks have been completed to its satisfaction.
