Holiday crafts fair Sunday

This year’s Celebrate Newton crafts fair is being held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Newton South High School, 140 Brandeis Road. The event features more than 50 local artists and artisans, with potters, painters, and photographers joined by specialists offering food and wearable art. Admission is $3; ages 11 and younger get in for free. There will also be live music throughout the day, and a kids’ crafts table. Visitors can shop for one-of-a-kind gifts for the holidays. Celebrate Newton is sponsored by Newton Community Education, and proceeds help build the organization’s scholarship fund. For more information about the fair, visit www.celebratenewton.com.
