New traffic restrictions have been put in place to prevent cut-through traffic on neighborhood roads and to improve traffic flow on main roads now that the Wayland Town Center complex is open. Signs, a traffic light, a traffic island, and speed tables have been put in place to help direct and slow traffic around the new shopping center. Officials say police will enforce turn restrictions and speed limits to keep roads safe around the downtown development.
