Overnight parking ban in effect

Overnight parking on city streets is banned for the next three months. The annual winter ban, which took effect Saturday, runs through March 15. Until then, street parking is prohibited from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.;  vehicles violating the ban will get $10 tickets, and may be towed if they interfere with snow- and ice-removal crews.
