Town officials are asking residents who have an interest in planning, zoning, and land use to consider applying for appointment to fill an interim vacancy on the five-member Planning Board. Interviews will be conducted next month during a joint meeting of the Board of Selectmen and the Planning Board. The position will expire in March, when the seat will be on the annual town election ballot. Letters of interest and a completed application form must be submitted to the selectmen’s office by Dec. 28. For additional information about the work of the Planning Board, visit the town’s website, www.lincolntown.org , or call Chris Reilly, director of planning and land use, at 781-259-2610.
