Chabad of Westborough will host its annual public menorah lighting and Hanukkah celebration at 12:15 p.m. Sunday at the rotary in the center of town. The free celebration will feature town selectmen and other dignitaries and various holiday festivities, including dreidels for the kids and refreshments, including Hanukkah gelt (chocolate coins), doughnuts, and hot cocoa. The 9-foot menorah will be on display throughout the eight days of Hanukkah, which began Saturday at sundown and will continue until next Sunday. The event will also feature a menorah-making contest for children, with the entries going display at the rotary during the event. For more information, call 508-366-0499.
