The Northborough Free Library is inviting residents of all ages to join in an afternoon of gift-tag making and present trimming, turning a routine holiday chore into a fun social event. From 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, adults, teens, and older elementary children (accompanied by an adult) will be creating gift tags and package trims for Christmas presents, birthday presents, or any other gift-giving occasion. The library will supply the materials, though participants are asked to bring scissors. Meanwhile, a similar crafting event will take place for parents with younger children in the children’s room from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. No registration is needed for either program. For more information, call 508-393-5025.
