Stocking up items for seniors in need

Under its “brown bag” program, the town’s Council on Aging is urging residents to donate nonperishable, canned food items and household goods such as toilet paper and paper towels that will be distributed to seniors in need. Prior to Christmas Day, these items may be dropped off at a collection center in Town Hall, 1 Main St., between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays.
